caffeinatedmetalhead As others have said here, a definite staple in the NWOTHM movement. It has a raw sound that is reminiscent of the era while being a solid banger for a debut album. Favorite track: Speed Queen.

sachavonkarl74 I need to move to Canada, so many cool bands !! The last song brought me here, as I love the band Speed Queen from Belgium, and the keyword brought me to Traveler. I am so glad it did. Such an amazing NWOTHM classic, the rhythm is relentless, fast and catchy, love how well the bass can be heard, and the vocals are just perfect. The song Street Machine is my favorite, it's just the essence of what I like here. It has been on repeat since I got this. Favorite track: Street Machine.

Starbreaker 05:41
blinding light, how it burns my eyes this could be it, how humanity dies little did we know, time and time again history repeats itself, please repent your sins wipes the surface clean, life drain through your skin he let our planet grow, now he's here again cosmic glider, defying laws of time and space ancient destructor, erasing every failed race feel the reign, left in pain, never to be seen again he's starbreaker end the lives who live in vain, no one left unslain he's starbreaker what can we do to change our ways sin after sin, our minds were out of phase carved in cryptic stone, we saw no warning just self made prophecies, we wondered who was king religious conspiracies, where did it begin but galactic warriors didn't mean a thing
2.
skull and bones etched into your eyes you never know who's gonna be first or the last to die life touches you in the strangest ways you're swallowed whole behind that empty gaze one more shot, one more rip, it's time to let life go just one more moment to snap out of this horror show but now you've left a stain inside their hearts the acts of a selfish mind tore their world apart like father, like son, your life had just begun take heed on what your mother said "some day you'll be someone" but it's the land of the free, oh say can you see choke your rights through the lungs feed the street machine the street machine can't fight back the winter shooting dreams into your veins ignoring facts of life, prepare to drag the chains it's worth it for the kill, go on and shoot the thrill your body aches to fire at will like mother like daughter, you're sentenced to the slaughter claw the worms out of your skin this is what you taught her but it's the land of the free, oh say can you see choke the right through the lungs feed the street machine
3.
It's high time you have set your sails make peace with god, and accept the fail the gavel took your life away chained down, now you're here to stay locked up away for murder kill after kill was your vice here for the one who got away now you pay the price of life blood lust is what put you here craving to watch them cower in fear muster up all you can conjure freedom stripped as fast as you stripped her behind, the iron behind, behind the iron locked away kill the siren the cage will break you down nothing more can be said now inside you will stand tall but man, i've seen the toughest fall

Up To You 03:46
Dragged down beneath the tides The weight of sorrow rots inside The pain waits for you tomorrow If only there were time to borrow Only child, bastard son Some say he's the chosen one Expectations beyond your dreams Feel the pressure of a thousand seas What's to give when you're alone Eyes upon you, carved in stone To see what's true it's all up to you shaded future, jaded past enough wasted on an empty cask a glimpse of light is shining through someday you'll get there too this life is yours to fail or compete energy's drained as your mind depletes time slips without your consent take it or leave it, dig your own descent now this is it, make your choice echoed insane from your own voice how can good come from this reach the peak until you feel the twist we all die at the end of the path no matter rank, forget the past the hopes of glory seemed so real i roll the dice, because i live for steel
6.
sought after spirits the ones you wish you could be it's your voice, i still hear it the biggest fan is me glorified by my own lies no one cares, until they die now they're as big as they'll ever be greeting pain with a smile, you see cry out your name just like we did again and again make an idol of a zero raise your glass to the fallen heroes inflating your egos this is the life you chose wish you could see what they made you be a false profit of society i made believe when i read the news within the hour i paid my dues now they see that i'm one of them the woodwork has struck again whats your claim to fame a nobody, and you're all the same rot away behind the keys this is the future you could not foresee
7.
truth be told, everyone wants their chance forever struggled through the fight for acceptance hard sides are false in the eyes of the true what lies are lies and the problem is you what's to gain, just more pain and agony to free my mind would be worth the tragedy when your demons groan louder than the sigh the grass looks greener on the other side mindless maze trapped me once again in the relentless sea collect what's left of me wear the mask of resilience stand up tall and suffer in silence only fools say goodbye too soon but the devil sung a tempting tune like a tear you cant dry it haunts you til the day you die i hope you find peace in time just reach back behind the shadows of your mind mindless maze trapped me once again in the relentless sea collect what's left of me mindless maze trapped me once again im ready just set me free

Speed Queen 05:27
your nose in the mirror reflects who you are someone with no hope, no chance of raising the bar the light's shining dimmer just paint on the smile another notch to your belt, but we see your heart pumps bile using, abusing all the men just wait for their turn no concern for the lives you burn get your fill, crush the pill solidify your life as a whore one step out the door, they'll be begging for more speed queen you're so obscene you've conquered bone, now you sit on your throne in the scene speed queen she owns the scene man after man, but deep down she wants to stay clean your thoughts are a miss now where is the bliss does it lie beneath the next dart breath kiss now facing death strung out and in debt more fool me you have no regrets
